Mistmoore's Inner Sanctum

Before entering the zone, ensure someone has Wolfsbane and Heartwood Stakes. Heartwood Stakes are required to stake coffins of each vampire name in the zone upon killing the name. Wolfsbane is auto consumed during the Mayong fight. See Mayong Mistmoore fight for methods of obtaining.

Sanctum chaperones wander throughout the zone and respawn every 10 minutes. Once your raid is spotted by a chaperone it will run to a nearby stoneskin destroyer and activate it. You can avoid this by initiating aggro with the chaperone deterring it from reaching the stoneskin destroyer.

Sanctum chaperones have an auto stun/silence on the first player they hit.

Strategy

A Sanctum Chaperone roams Enynti’s room — kill it before pulling the named.
Before killing the chaperone, position the raid in the stairway leading to the named room.
Tank in the corner at the bottom of the steps with raid at max range.

Once strategy is set, pull the chaperone as it paths by the door. After it dies, you have 10 minutes before respawn to kill Enynti.

Important Abilities

• Enthralling Flames – Elemental AOE with stun for anyone in range

• Winds of the Ancient – Knock-up; position carefully

• Fiendish Bite – Trauma on tank; must be cured immediately or the tank’s defenses drop to 0

Suggested Tips

After the kill, the raid should stand on the top step while looting to avoid aggro from respawned chaperones.

Winds of the Ancient

Strategy

The fight is extremely easy until 10% health.

At 10%, Viswin emotes:
“Forces of darkness, I call on you for the strength to prevail!”

He begins casting a massive raid-wipe AOE.
This can be delayed by enchanter stuns about 2 seconds after the emote.
If not killed quickly, he repeats the AOE every 20–30 seconds.

Recommended Method

• AOE-block at 12%

• Full burn the named before blockers expire

• Use a Heartwood Stake at 6% to boost damage
  
  

Suggested Tips

Save all long cooldowns for the final burn. It’s the only part that matters.

Strategy

Enter the room hugging the right wall and stack in the back to avoid premature pull.

On pull:

• Use AOE-block to survive the heavy opening damage

• Burn adds first — controlling the opening add wave is the key to winning

• Once adds are dead, the fight becomes manageable
  
  

Abilities

• Occasional AE fear

• Vortex of Darkness – Minor magic damage and heals the boss
  
  

Suggested Tips

Use big DPS cooldowns on the opening add burn while blockers are active.

Strategy

Similar to Viswin with two differences:

• Small AOE heal

• Spell reflection
  
  

If using enchanter stun method at 10%, reflections may occur.

Recommended Method

• AOE-block at 12%

• Burn hard

• Heartwood Stake at 6%
  
  

Suggested Tips

Save big cooldowns for final burn.

Strategy

Clear chaperones in room first.

Pull the named into the hallway.

Important Mechanics

• Immune to fighter taunts → use a Rogue as tank

• Mem-wipes every 20–40 sec, often hitting healers

• Cure the Rogue’s arcane detriment immediately

• Emote: “Heal No More!”

• Occasional AE Fear
  
  

Suggested Tips

Stack raid tightly and heal through the boss’s hitbox.

Strategy

One raid member must have Wolfsbane — automatically consumed at start.

Without it, Mayong will resummon all killed bosses → wipe.

• Mayong can be soothed

• Or creep up steps and jump to side stage

• Soul Paralysis – Huge stun; MT only; cure fast

• Blanket of Eternal Night – Proximity AOE; joust it

• Mayong’s Touch – Cure immediately

• 2 heroic adds every 60 sec

• Rogues maintain TSwipe

• Joust AOEs

• Priority cures to MT
