How AI viewed our description of Leviathan
Trash Mobs and Farming
A “Yha-lei disciple” drops fish suits. These should be given to the players who will be suited to go inside Levi. The mobs reset every 12 hours and can be farmed for suits. The suits are Lore/No trade. They become tradable after 48 hours but only to people who were present when they were farmed. So, it is important that your suited people are present for the farm. While farming suits can be given to anyone if it is more than 48 hours from the time you plan to kill Levi. Once the suit wearer is out of suits, one can be traded to them by someone who was given a suit during the farming.
When setting up to farm your main objective is to acquire as many volatile fluids as possible. “A gullet devourer” will drop volatile fluids.
Once Levi is activated, having someone suit up and be swallowed allows for them to either kill mobs within him and loot the volatile fluids, or aggro them so they path toward the raid and can be killed for volatile fluids.
All the Moving Parts
Volatile Fluids
The average raid force will need 50-60 Volatile fluids to kill Leviathan.
Volatile fluids are collected and handed out to the persons who will suit up. Volatile fluids are what is used to kill Levi. Volatile fluids can be traded to those suiting up. Both players will need to turn off their auto attack to trade.
There are several “a gullet devourer” inside Levi. When they are aggro’d inside, they will path out to the raid once the player in the suit is spit out and can be killed for Volatile fluid.
Volatile fluids only do maximum damage 25%-50% of the time. This is in part due to his Stone skin which has a chance 65% chance of absorbing all damage. It is important for the player in the suit to time the fluids when the reflect is down.
Suited Players
Enchanters are the ideal candidates to wear the suits because of their high potency due to AAs. Currently potency is the most important factor for volatile fluid damage. When looking at potency, a minimum of 100 is optimum.
He will swallow a player wearing the fish skin every 40 seconds. If someone is not in a suit when he attempts to swallow, the raid will wipe.
Whoever is assigned to suit up will stand on a nearby rock and wait. Once inside Levi they will be in there for 10-15 seconds before being spit out. The player should inform the raid when they are out.
Have one person call out who is supposed to suit up next (in a fish suit). This helps ensure that no fish suits are wasted by more than one person suiting up. The caller and the players suiting up should communicate with the status of their suits, to know when they are getting low.
AOE
Levi casts Mucigenic storm every 20-60 seconds- this does significant damage and has no cast bar, however it must be cured immediately. Calling “Cure Now” can be beneficial to the player inside of Levi, indicating they should use their pot to cure themselves.
A dirge should run the Nox song and should be AA spec’d to ward as well.
Greenmist Orb
At 20 % health the person with the Greenmist orb should start moving towards the pedestal to use the orb. At 10%-15% health, red text will appear, and Levi will have a new stoneskin. The person with the Greenmist orb, must use it near the pedestal, which removes the stoneskin and allows him to be killed. The statue can be clicked while running. If you click the statue before you die, it will complete casting. The orb will be consumed once it is used.
Reflect
Leviathan has a reflect (Reflective Aura), this reflect only affects spells and not combat arts. However due to his stoneskin, the melee classes do significantly less damage. Ultimately it is the volatile fluids that kill Levi, the melee classes are better off focusing on debuffs and devourers. This of course is entirely up to the raid on how they want to use their melee classes.
Reflect can be dispelled. Only the druid’s Serene Symbol works consistently and does not reflect on the raid. Cuss and Absorb magic do occasional dispel the reflect, however they bounce back and dispel the raid. The best bet is to stick with Serene Symbol. 2 druids in raid is ideal as Serene symbol may be down when the reflect comes back up.
Someone should be calling reflect up and reflect down. The ACT trigger is a good indicator but occasionally misses the reflect. The MT can call this as he is targeted on Levi consistently.
While reflect is down, debuffs should be applied with care to Levi, be aware that the Reflect has a mind of its one and comes and goes at different intervals. Except for placing debuffs while the Reflect is down, NO ONE should be targeted or casting on Levi (assuming the raid is not meleeing on Levi).
The Brigand can use Murderous Rake and Dispatch, but the brigand will need to swim behind Levi to apply them and then swim back, they should wait until the Nox AE hits and after they are cured before going swimming.
It is a good idea to set a dispel rotation for the Serene Symbol. Given there are generally only 2 druids in a raid (possibly 3 given your set up), it is often easier to have them go in order they are in the raid window. So, the first reflect would go to the first druid, then the second, and so on. If a druid cast Serene Symbol and for some reason it does not dispel the Reflect, they need to communicate with the raid that it did not dispel so that the next druid in order can attempt to dispel.
Having a troubadour Jcap the druids help with the reuse of the dispel.
Positioning
When the last add is dead, Leviathan will activate. It is important to pull the last add up the ramp across from Levi to kill, so that the raid can heal up and buff before getting into position The raid will start on the ramp where the last trash mob was killed. Blockers going in as raid moves as one into position.
The MT stands on the rock jutting out towards Levi with the MT group. The rest of the raid stands at the base of the rock. The water that Levi is in is acidic so raiders should be mindful it will cause damage.
The designated player will suit up and stand on the rock waiting to be swallowed. If no one is suited it, Levi will cast Corrosive Bile, which will wipe the raid.
OT will gather the devourer adds, which the raid will kill. Having summoner or 50+meter bow with +5 range arrows to pull devours closer to the raid is ideal.
The person monitoring the reflect will call reflect up/reflect down. Druids in their respective order will use Serene Symbol to remove the reflect.
While reflect is down that is the raids que to cast debuffs on the mob, and for the person wearing the suit to use volatile fluids while inside Levi. Green encounter debuffs should not be used as these can accidentally reflect on their group.
Class Specific Considerations:
Brigands are an ideal class for the Greenmist orb, as they have “safehouse” in their AA line. This ability allows them to teleport to a location they have marked, so they can teleport to the pedestal when the time comes.
If Necros are used to suit up, they can engage as many devourers as they can while inside to get volatile fluids for the enchanters. Allowing the enchanters to go in without worrying about surviving and not gathering up mobs.
