Speak to Ashe Boderra on the Enchanted Lands docks to receive a book titled “The Tragic Tale of Slezaf” ( 29, 1, 29 )

Speak to Edmund Slezaf on the Thundering Steppes docks( -477, -20, -381 ). He will sell you Slezaf’s Broken Lute for 5 Platinum.

Examine the Lute.

Speak to Freesia Ticklewing in Kelethin ( 161, 108, 171 ) to receive The Flute of a Thousand Colors.

Equip the flute and use it from your charm slot to complete the quest and receive the First Magic Lyric.

Inspect the Lyric to update the quest

Equip The Flute of a Thousand Colors and use it from your charm slot on the southern beach in Timourus Deep-Isle of Mok ( 1723, 4, 648 )to make the “Windhowler Reed” appear nearby.

Harvest the “Windhowler Reed” to obtain a “Silver Threaded Windhowler Reed.”

Use the flute from your charm slot to place the reed in the flute.

Use the flute from your charm slot to receive the Second Magic Lyric.

Use the flute from your charm slot just north of Ganak's Battlement in Jarsath Waste ( -378, -58, -357 )  to spawn Zaz the Wailer (80 Heroic ^^). Kill him to receive the “bone reed.

Use the flute from your charm slot to place the reed in the flute.

Use the flute from your charm slot to receive the Third Magic Lyric.

Use the flute from your charm slot in the drachnid cave (between the Temple of the Red Lord and Temple of the White Lady in the Skyfire Mountains) ( -2251, 232, 927 ) to make the Resonating Crystals appear nearby.

Harvest the Resonating Crystals to obtain a crystal flute plate.

Use the flute from your charm slot to attach the plate.

Use the flute from your charm slot to receive the Fourth Magic Lyric.

Kill Armsmaster Keelo (or his placeholder) ( 20, -56, 183 ) just to the south of the Rhinos in Karnor's Castle to receive the deklium plating. (Auto-Update) You will want to take a friend or two for this. At 50% he will call his friends to join in, you can run the bridge to loose aggro.

Use the flute from your charm slot to attach the plate.

Use the flute from your charm slot to discover that the restoration is complete.

Speak to Freesia Ticklewing, in Kelethin ( 161, 108, 171 ) .

Speak to Smendrik in Gorowyn ( 2604, 86, 1296) .

Pick up the quest from Smendrik, in Gorowyn as you complete the last quest. He will want you to find some items.

         Writhing Eye Stalk-Chelsith (abyss lurkers)

Black Coral- Chelsith (under water near abyss lurkers)

  Soul sharpened teeth - Charasis: Maiden's Chamber or Charasis: Vault of Eternal Sleep –(Kill bottomless devourers) for 2 updates.

    Drake Eggs-Skyfire Mountains (Kill 50 of drakes, any kind)        

    Pan Pipes from a powerful satyr: -New Tunaria (The Powerful Satyr) turn left at the Temple of Growth and go up the hill and around the back past the     Sentry Creation Chamber to the Satyr Camp. Hail Ephacles Tilikatos ( -998, 54, -1174 ) ater speaking to him he will attack you (83 ^^). Defeat him to         get the Pan Pipes. (He's stuns, so bring a friend)

                A djinn willing to give me a mandolin- Poets Palace 4th Floor (Speak to  Arash Abbas ( 17, 305, -85 ) NOTE: Djinn language needed. 

After you have all the updates, Return to Smendrik in Gorowyn

Speak with Ashe on the Enchanted Lands dock.

(Because it is EQ2) Return to Smendrik, who will sent you out for more updates.

A Folly worthy of pleasing Bristlebane – Rivervale (Gather 10 pies off the table   in front of The Fools Gold ( -52, -23, 38 ) and throw them at the friendly halflings in front of The Fools Gold. You must hit a different halfling with each pie. Once all 10 pies are thrown, proceed inside The Fools Gold to tell a sad tale.

A Sad Tale – in the Fools Gold (Speak to Liddy Bobick ( -78, -17, -15 )). Tell her a tale of two young lovers in order to make her and the others in the area cry and update the quest.

         A Tuning Fork – Chardok Library of Divination (920,-44,437)-Hail Otzal Di'Zok. NOTE: Di'Zokian language is required .

   Hail the Tuner, he will attack you (Level 84 ^^^). Defeat him and loot the legendary no-trade tuning fork for the update.

Return to Gorowyn and speak to Smendrik to collect your reward
