Go to Teren’s Grasp in Kylong Plains and speak to Hollen the Runesage in the Hall of Conviction (1973,488,-709).

Complete the subquest A Sleeping Stone: Sight of the First

Travel to Permafrost. Once in Permafrost go toe Vision of Vox’s room. On the corner of the table is a tablet (172,3,-394), pick it up

Travel to Butcherblock mountains and talk to Grunnin Copperfist (-250,211,-83)

Grunnin has you collect pyrorock dust. You need to gather 10 dusks, which is semi-rare harvest from T8 hard ore nodes. Save yourself some time and focus on Ryjesium nodes. This step is fast and simple in the drachnids caves.

Return to Grunnin so he can repair the tablet

Inspect the tablet, which is written in Halasian.

Once you have read the tablet, you will head to the Shard of Fear. You will need to kill an Eye of Thule for “a spirit of enshroud eye”. Eyes of Thule can be found near the Turmoil Boneyard (169,62,118).

Travel to Greater Faydark and go to the pond (-53,-10,71). Target yourself and use the spirit enshrouded eye to cleanse the pond and receive “the Eye of Thalger”.

Travel to Jarsaths Wastes ( 769, -21, 623 )  and activate the Eye of Thalger to be granted a spirit vision. Speak to the spirit wolf Shul’da.

You will need to kill skeletons to free their spirits. At each location, you will kill 25 skeletons. After each one is dead, you must hail the ghost that replaces it, to advance the quest.

            Kunzar Jungle- Ganak’s Old Crypt ( 364, -113, 914 ) 

            Karnor’s Castle-Courtyard ( 769, -21, 623 ) 

Return to Shul’da. You must use the Eye of Thalger to see her. 

Head to Teren’s Grasp and speak to Hollen the Runesage ( 1973, 488, -709 )

Head to the Elddar Grove in Qeynos to speak to Takk, Hollen’s Grandfather. ( 698, -17, -335 ) 

Travel to the Hidden Vale in Antonica (same location as the Shattered Vale). You must be level 80 to enter the zone.

Kill 6 darkened spirits. You can invis around the zone and pick off the spirits which are circling the druid ring in the center.

Click on the alter in the center of the druid ring.

Return to Takk, who will then send you out to obtain the 3 parts of the epic weapon. These quests can be done in any order. Each of these quests have you speak to true spirits located in A spiritual Pocket. To get to each one you must find their alter. Be warned though the spiritual pockets have a bug that makes it a pain to actually talk to the spirit without being zoned out. The easiest way to speak to the NPC is to go old school and tab target the NPC and press H.

Seek the first True Spirit:Hulgren, Spirit of Wisdom. His altar is located in the Hollowfrost Grove in Everfrost ( -225, 5, -353 ). If you have not noticed a theme, if at all possible leave your port at the altar, so you can call of the Tinker to them or have them call you once in zone to save time.

Hulgren will send you to find an Ancienct tome in Charasis:Vault of Eternal Sleep. This is a large book in the trap outside of daydreams room ( 5, -17, -191 ). You must speak Death’s Wisper to pick up the tome.

Return to Hulgren and report your success.

Obtain a spiritwood branch. This node looks just like the harvestable wood nodes and can be found in the wooded areas in Kylong Plains. (the most success has been in the woods on the half of kylong by Fens of Nathsar. You can invis through this area and use Gnomish Diving Rod to locate the node. The quest will auto complete.

Seek the second True Spirit: Rel’dekk, Spirit of Preservation. His altar is in the Thundering Steppes near the Giant Crater ( 475, -1, 740 ).

Cleanse The Defiled Tomb of Valor (special instance of The Tomb of Valor) in Stormhold. Group members must be 80. Clear the Sellok Cultists (80^^), Kill Serrin Trelmist.

         Serrin Trelmist heals for 2% every time he receives melee damage.

Click the 8 Sarcophagi

Return to Rel’dekk.

Find an earthvine stalk in Kunzar Jungle. You can use Gnomish Diving Rod, and fly between sokokar posts, jumping off as soon as it is on track. This quest will auto complete

The third True Spirit: Grossh, oldest of the three. His altar is located near the Altar of the Four Canons in Ferrott ( -609, -2, 158 ).

You must gather claws of four different creatures in any order.

         A spiritwracked drolvarg in Karnor’s Castle ( -136, -42, 52 ) 

         A spritwracked Sokokar in Fens of Nathsar. Roams between ( -2096, 43, 1518 ) and ( -2415, -84, 1437 ).

                A spiritwracked drake in Jarsath Wastes ( -2157, 204, 1442 )

                A spiritwracked Chokidai in Kunzar Jungle ( -304, 137, -411 ) or ( -742, -52, 382 )

Return to Grossh and turn in the claws to update the quest

Return to Takk once you have all parts of the Epic Weapon from the subquests.

He will give you a Loosely Bound Cudge and returns your Eye of Thalger.

Head to a special version of the Shattered Vale, Hidden Vale

Kill all the darkened spirits (80^^^) to spawn Sade of Sellok

Kill the Shade of Sellok

         He will spawn shrieking phantasms, at 25% health he becomes invisible. You the Eye of Thalgerr. It gives you a 45 second buff that will allow you to

                see him. Group members will need to target through you.

Equip the Loosely Bound Cudgel and click the altar to destroy it

Return to Takk to receive Cudgel of Obviation

Make sure to pick up the Mythical quest Awakening the Cudgel from Takk once your quest is completed.
