Watch the Master P'Tasa fight!
Shard of Hate
Has a minimum adventure level of 75 to enter.
Beware as you move through the zone that some of the trash has very large pathing areas. It is also very social, so easy to get multiple mobs which can be a pain. Oh- and some of them fly so harder to spot... basically, clear the trash and be careful about it. (As of Varsoon these mobs are paper, and drop pretty decent loot and masters. A pickup raid was able to fight 4 and 5 at a time. ) When you get to the patrons of hate, they will split on death into 2 manifestations of rage.
Mender Gruug:
The mender gives a questline.
Gruug's got a Grudge (gives access to the anvil for repairing)
followed by
Getting the Mender's Eye (You get the fork from this one!) MULTIPLE people can complete if you countdown the click on the gargoyle. Recommend a SMALL group trying and rest of the raid not right next to it. Bards and chanters are a good choice.
and then
Giving the Mender's Eye.
This questline gives you Vhalen's Unchained Fork. Use this on the Maestro to prevent him from becoming immune.
They also ignore taunts and detaunts just as likely as heeding them. Makes for a fun challenge.
Dreadlord D'Somni:
Has a knockback.
Does an AE that dots you and does PROXIMITY BASED damage- the closer you are, the harder it hits. Max range.
Cloak of Revulsion- can not be dispelled, mini reflect that stuns and does direct damage.
Tempest of Disease- raid root- HUGE damage if not cured.
Dislikes mages- "Your arcane trickery has earned you death"- will swap to a mage. Happens pretty regularly. Not worth using a trigger for.. tanks just fight to take it back and rez the mage if they die.
Recapture is your friend!
Clear all the trash on the path to him and then pet pull him to the front door. Have the raid wedge underneath the lip of the planter there and poof no knockback.
Demetrius Crane:
Pretty easy fight, drops hate to healers- "You shall not aid mine enemies"
Casts Wrath of fury- minor damage overall. Timer below if it is hurting your raid significantly- but it isn't very often could be blocked every time by a jcapped druid. Seems to have a small power drain.
Mob itself has a chance to power drain you on hit. A coey or two with mythical weapons can combat this EASILY.
Master P'Tasa:
Stoneskins- every time he is hit there is a chance he stoneskins for a few seconds. Each tic of a dot can trigger it as well.
Divine Maelstrom is wardable. Joust if it is killing you. 9 meters seems to be a good spot to be and not get dropped through wards for most raiders including in a pickup raid where we tested all of this. 15 meters seemed to be another damage drop off.
Mem wipes so cheeks and burn and have the person it wipes to run forward to the tanks ESPECIALLY if the raid is jousted.
Master P'Tasa near immediately mem wipes. The tank who pulled CANNOT be the tank that snaps it back off his first victim. And you need to give the swaps and targets long enough to register. If your tanks are having trouble, use a necro tank pet to pull while the raid HOLDS ALL DPS. Let the pet die or wait for Master P'Tasa to wipe to a new target and then have a tank pick it up. Previous writeups mention that positional taunts and detaunts will cause the curse throughout. We did not find this to be true on the Varsoon TLE through multiple attempts and even purposeful triggers to test it.
This will happen throughout the fight. Unavoidable. Threat is really weird in this zone so have your tanks always fighting for aggro to pull it back. if it is on someone have them run it forward to the tanks to save the raid from proximity on Divine Maelstrom.
Trigger below if you want one.
Malevolence and Ire:
The Eye of the sisterhood from killing Demetrius Crane will be consumed from the bags of the person you looted it to and 3 of the sisters poof, leaving just Malevolence and Ire.
These sisters do the calling on different tanks thing. Each tank group should ONLY LEAVE their takes triggers active. Otherwise they get hard to hear. The sisters must be tanked apart from each other. So far on Varsoon- you CANNOT cheese this, the mobs have too many HP and call upon all 3 tank types. There is too much of a DPS check to power through.
CURE EVERYTHING!- No really, cure more, cure faster.
Use counterblade on cooldown on Malevolence. (Coercers)
Mist of Malevolence is an elemental slow- Timer below but often casts LATE- slow cast so PRECURE.
Malevolence is an sk- so she casts unholy blessing- causes MASSIVE heal- really a dps check. Shows as voracious soul in act.

Kpul D'Vngur (The Maestro): (I haven't pulled in 10 years so, more to come!)
You need Vhalen's Unchained Fork from the mender questline to defeat the Maestro. Cast prior to Dissonant note... use someone who can stay on this! Bards and chanters seem to be the widely accepted clickers.
He will emote: Drop that accursed device (trigger below)
You CANNOT MISS THIS- it will throw off your reuse and will be down for the next emote. USE MULTIPLE clickers.
Slow and steady seems to be they key. Mistakes can be deadly. Cures cannot be missed. Each death adds literal minutes to the fight.
PRE CURE CURSE!! Healers can cure their own and CURE with curse. THEY CANNOT HEAL or it will inflict damage instead.
DO NOT HEAL someone with the curse on them. Cancel spell cast on your cure curse macro is a MUST.
Even hots/reactives on a target will cause damage until this curse is cured.
The damage from the curse is based on how much the healer heals, not the act of casting. e.g. Inq's myth has a heal component but can group cure and not kill the group. However! Group Heal with Dogma and Aftershock will one-shot the group if they weren't in green to start with.
It's only heals - can quite happily debuff and pew pew while waiting for another healer to cure curse.
Cure ARCANE - stop dps and heals until cured.
RANGE FIGHT- or at least joust the MASSIVE aoe.
Don't DPS with discordant.
Use a mem wipe timer for everyone who needs to know. - "Fighting you is getting me nowhere, time to change things up!"
Sonnet of Pain- Low damage, lower power drain. Minor.
Every 30 seconds from pull. Followed by discordant tone a few seconds later.
Byzola: (I haven't pulled in 10 years so, more to come!)
Welcome to cure curse, healers!
This one has class specific adds to burn.
