Moors of Ykesha
Ykesha's Inner Stronghold will teach you how to handle the hardest fight of the expansion. Each mob has a component that will carry over into the fight with Ykesha.
Add Management, Knockbacks, trauma AOEs, Aggressive cures and curse cures.
Level:^^^ Epic x4
Health: 50,696,956
Debuff: Strength 169
Melee Damage: Crushing
Non-Melee Abilities:Toxic Effusion- AOE Power drain, Poison damage dot- distance based, safest outside of 16m.
Poisonous Spores- AOE poison damage dot-distance based, safest outside of 16m.
Toxic Effusion is interruptible. Detrients need to be cured immediately. During the fight occasionally players will be cursed. You need to cure their curse, failing to do so will cause the curse to spread.
This mob is triggered by going roughly to the area indicated on the map to the right. Once you see the red text you know he has been triggered. The next patrol you engage will spawn the Stalker.
There are two ways to do this. Some people have a member drop group and run to the spot and FD (or often die). Then rejoin the raid where they set up in the entryway.
This is not necessary. The whole raid can move as one to the indicated spot and set up in that room. Be careful though if you kill all the patrols before you get to this spot you can lock up your zone.
The MT will be ready to grab the Stalker once is spawns, with the OT holding the add.
It if VERY important that the add does not die until the Stalker is dead. If you kill the add before the stalker, it increases the chance of him going berserk and spam cursing the raid. He will also add in to every named fight until he is dead.
Level: 86^^^ Epic x4
Health: 60,995,335
Debuff: Strength 1433
Melee Damage:
Non-Melee Abilities: Frenzied Slice-AOE slashing damage AOE- must joust 16m
Vexing Taunt- Prevents target from changing targets
Kultak's Cruelty- Max health crushing damage AOE dot
Soldiers Garb- When curse is not cured, chance to cast Stikeback on target's attacker. Heat damage dot , reduces healing and damage
Mob heals under 50%.
HP gear recommended for this fight.
The raid will stack up at the top corner of the ramp. Blockers on pull. The MT will rush Kultak while the OT gathers up the adds. During the fight the mob will cast Frenzied Slice, blocking if able is advised. Jousting is almost always required if you do not have a blocker and even then some of the squisher raiders will parish. Get the dead up, so they can get back in the fight.
Curses will occasionally occur. It is important this is cured immediately.
During the fight your MT will get Deathly touch, every 30 seconds or so.

Raid stacks up in the room where the hall way turns. The raid stacks up in a corner opposite the MT.
The MT will hold the named while the OT (or OTs) gather up the adds. The focus is on the named during this fight, the adds will recieve splash damage from AOE's.
This is a cure heavy fight, cure everything. None of the AOEs are terribly significant on their own but there are a lot of detriments flying around, do not let them stack up.
During the fight an add will spawn <an unstable minion> either a scout or tank will be hit with purposeful resolve. They must kill this add fast or wipe the raid. Technically no one is able to attack this mob, but you can heal and buff the player. Note: it seems that if you have been marked previously then you may be able to assist on future minions. Will do more testing to confirm if this was a fluke or if it is "working as intended". All scouts and tanks need to make the macro below to be able to target the minion in a sea of adds.
/target an unstable minion
can assist with future adds
Once the named is dead clean up all the adds, you can evac but then they will just follow you to the zone, you will have to zone out of the instance to get them to go away.

Level: 88^^^ Epic x4
Health: 58,630,422
Debuff: Strength 1,949
Melee Damage:
Non-Melee Abilities: Acute vision- See spirit form, you notice a strange troll
Infuriating Madness- forces targets in AOE to change their selected target, prevents target change.
Power diffusion- Interrupt, power drain dot
Note: turn down your graphics for this fight.
This is a rough fight, like the last fight there will be a lot of adds, all of them memwipe, all of them have knock back.
Pull the named just outside of the room. Tanks on one wall, raid on the the other. Be mindful of line of site if you are a healer as the columns on the ground can and will cause issues.
Blockers on pull.
The MT will hold the named. The OT/OTs will hold Ykula, Takla and the adds. (may want to consider having target Macro for named)
You will burn Ykula and the Takla before killing the named.
It is important to remember to debuff the name and keep him debuffed, even if you are not actively killing him at that time.
Depending on your raid makeup and DPS, you may need to periodically shift off of the names to burn down the adds to keep them manageable.
Healers: Cure everything. Cure the curses or they will spread and drain power. If you are a MT/OT healer, assigning you single target rez, death prevent, and heals to your tank will enable you to heal them even if forced onto another target.
During this fight there is a stealthy troll that spawns which is suppose to detonate the raid if not killed. It only functions if the MT is chosen. If this happens, swap the named before it detonates. If unsuccessful, it is a raid wipe.
There will be many chests that drop during the fight. Just leave it until the fight is done. The chests will contain Ykeshan Warbeads, make sure everyone in your raid gets a set. These will be needed for Ykesha.
