Find Tarby at ( 509, -19, 484 ) Note: If he is not there, wait.
Speak with Tarby to begin a ring event. Note: Everyone on the quest must hail him. Be quick engaging the wolves that spawn so that they do not engage and kill Tarby forcing you to wait for respawn.
Hail Tarby and pick him up. Note: coordinate group hails to avoid waiting for respawn.
Return to Obsid
Rewards:
Cracked Stone Hand Axe
Examine the Cracked Stone Hand Axe that you received at the end of Little Tarby Lost.
Mine 10 granite pieces, from wind swept stones in The Thundering Steppes. Note: when you get your last piece you will get a quest reward of a pristine piece of granite and the Granite Tomahawk Recipe.
Scribe the Granite Tomahawk Recipe. Note: will need a forge, the pristine piece of granite, cracked stone hand axe, severed ash, a sparkling material, and glimmering coal.
Return to Obsid
Kill 100 skeletons in The Thundering Steppes.
Return to Obsid Boulderboom Note: A 1 hour timer will start as you finish the conversation for the next step.
Kill 25 Skindancer Gnolls around Shrine of Decay ( 391, 1, 1188 )
Return to Obsid Boulderboom.
Enter the Cove of Decay and slay the The Octagorgon. Note: The Octagorgon is also needed for Stiletto’s Orders if you are working them together.
